Don't date a dwarf with learning difficulties...
...it's not big and it's not clever

I know that this is meant as a joke, but seriously, this one isn't funny. I understand that the point of it is that there's a play on words with "big/dwarf" and "learning difficulties/clever" but being shorter than "standard" height is not funny. We get enough hassle just walking down the sidewalk--now we're getting hassled in cyberspace? Enough is enough.

I don't mind being the butt of jokes, so other people shouldn't mind either ;-) You can't take life too seriously - you end up miserable and on pills. I've got nothing against vertically challenged people. In fact, most of my ex-boyfriends were under 5'7 (probably still are, unless they're dead).

No big deal, thanks for the apology. Maybe I'm just a little sensitive due to "short man's syndrome," how's that for humor. They say deprecating humor is the best kind, in which case Midget jokes should be the funniest ones to me, I guess.

OK, I'll give one a shot (not like I haven't heard any of these before, whispered behind my back in public):

Q: Did you hear about the medium midget that escaped from prison?
A: No, I didn't. Does that mean that there's a small medium at large?; 2:09 am
